Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a branch of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all pathologies involving the oral cavity and surrounding soft and bone tissues. However, unlike routine dental practice or  that as known on the contrary, it does not only deal with tooth extraction. At the point the branch has reached today;

- Benign or malignant tumors of bone and soft tissues caused by dental or non-dental causes,

- Maxillofacial Traumas (fractures, etc.)

- Correction of congenital or acquired  jaw deformities  

​

- Medical and interventional treatments of jaw joint disorders

​

- Dental implant treatments

It operates as a competent field of practice in its own field with the "Expertise" acquired through a challenging 4-year specialization training after dental  education.

Today, it is a specialty that is primarily preferred and applied according to the needs of our patients with the awareness that has begun to emerge as seen
